By accessing or using Transfur Line ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including rescue organizations, volunteers, government agencies, and the general public.

2. Description of Service

Transfur Line is an emergency animal rescue coordination platform designed to facilitate the rescue, care, and rehoming of animals during natural disasters and emergencies. The Service includes:

  • Emergency hotline services for reporting animals in distress
  • Coordination tools for rescue organizations and volunteers
  • Resource management and allocation systems
  • Communication platforms for disaster response teams
  • Data collection and reporting capabilities

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 User Types

Different user types have different privileges and responsibilities:

  • Public Users: Can report animals in need and view public information
  • Volunteers: Can participate in rescue operations under organization supervision
  • Organizations: Can manage rescue operations and coordinate volunteers
  • Government Officials: Have administrative access for disaster coordination

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes related to animal rescue and disaster response.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

  • Submit false or misleading information about animals in need
  • Impersonate any person, organization, or government entity
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes unrelated to animal rescue
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or rescue personnel
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without consent
  • Use automated systems or bots without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service

5. Emergency Services Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Transfur Line is NOT a replacement for emergency services. In life-threatening situations involving humans, always call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. For urgent animal emergencies outside of declared disasters, contact local animal control or veterinary emergency services.

6. Content and Conduct

6.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

6.2 Content Standards

All content must be:

  • Accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
  • Relevant to animal rescue and disaster response
  • Free from offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
  • Compliant with applicable laws and regulations

6.3 Removal of Content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number:

  • You consent to receive SMS messages related to Transfur services
  • Message frequency varies based on your activities
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Text STOP to opt out at any time
  • Text HELP for assistance
  • Opt-out requests are processed via the same 10DLC number used for messaging
  • We NEVER share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes

Your privacy is important to us. By using Transfur:

  • You acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy
  • You understand we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing
  • You agree that your data will only be used for Transfur platform operations
  • You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Transfur Line and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., mapping services, communication providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

10.2 No Professional Advice

Information provided through the Service is for coordination purposes only and should not be considered professional veterinary, legal, or emergency response advice.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Transfur Line, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@transfurline.com.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, illegal activities, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Transfur Line regarding the use of the Service.
